Rippin' Foamies Yak-54, Revision A
This
was my first indoor design in late 2004. It turned out to be one
of my best. Beginners luck, I guess. It is designed for
indoor 3D and can do it all in a normal sized basketball court.
Flight characteristics are very good with very little knife-edge
coupling. It is all 3mm Depron with some CF reinforcement.

Rippin' Foamies Yak-54, Revision C
This
was my third indoor design in early 2005. The "B" model was a bust
- bigger is not necessarily better! This Rev. C design is smaller
and lighter than the Rev. A Yak. I like the smaller size for
smaller flying venues. Performance is excellent with a snappy roll
rate and minimal knife-edge coupling.
